Champion's note
Best browser for PRO
The PRO is designed as a web-app or web-tool. Professionals told us they prefer to sit in front of a desktop computer when supporting their clients with dementia and families.
As such, it’s important to remember that My Dementia Companion PRO works best in Google Chrome and Safari.
Note, you can learn about creating a desktop icon and shortcut here, including using it on mobile friendly and creating an app icon.
Common troubleshooting for verification and registration
Many organisations’ default browser is Internet Explorer, which does not support the PRO (nor many other web-apps).
If your organisation’s default browser is Internet Explorer, this will make registration for your colleagues more difficult. You can click here for some tips on how to work around this.
This link also includes additional information on other potential troubleshooting situations, such as not receiving a verification email and under what circumstances a user may get an error message.
We hope this additional resource is helpful and of course, you can always contact us with questions at any time.
